Have any of you readers read the book of mormon cover to cover. your read?, your opinion? any comments?

i asked this q amoung me mormon friends and mormon co-woworkers. none of them read the whole book. some read part of it and gave up.some of you challenged some of my q on mormon beliefs. many of my q were taken from your answers to my q .a number of you dissagred with our answers never touched the q .i have read the bom, the koran, and other beliefs. i spent three days in the genealogy dept. in salt lake city tracing our family history. i have no ax to grind with mormons, your generous, kind, and do good things for people in need. my interest lies with th e bom .i find it very difficult to justify your belief in j.s..as the author and prophet. mark twain, the great americanhomorist studied mormon history in s.l.c.. he read the bom and wrote abook on it called " roughing it" i will quote some of his comments. " chlorform in print,prosy plagiarism of the new testament,book is a mongrel, grotesque, an abomination. book of either is incomprehensible, tiresome to read. j.s.theology is a polythistic nightmare of garbled doctrines, draped with the garment of christian terminology. it should give one thought to think....some of you will be angry with me , but facts are facts...if you want to live your life tied to a belief, study its whole history first...
