Thinking critically problem solving lab question?
The DNA of each of the cells studied are: Human liver, Human thymus, Herring sperm and Yeast. In Human liver adenine is 30.3, guanine is 19.5, cytosine is 19.9 and thymine is 30.3. In Human thymus, adenine is 30.9, guanine is 19.9, cytosine is 19.8, and thymine is 29.4. In Herring sperm, adenine is 27.8, guanine is 22.2, cytosine is 22.6, and thymine is 27.5. In Yeast, adenine is 31.7, guanine is 18.2, cytosine is 17.4, thymine is 32.6. How do the relative amounts of each base in herring sperm compare with the relative amounts of each base in yeast?
