Why do alot of Laker fans forget that for D. Howard to be a Laker, Orlando would have to do a sign and trade?

If Orlando refused to trade him there, he realistically could not sign there as a FA unless he took a mid level exception contract (which I doubt he will). He will have the choice to agree where he wants to sign an extension but he really do not have much teams who will provide him a chance to win and play in a big market in a free agency. All the available free agency teams with cap room like New Jersey, LA Clippers, New Orleans Hornets, and Minnesota cannot provide both. Therefore, I do agree in some ways he and Orlando would have to find a team where they both agree on since he would have to do a trade to make it happen.
