Why are the Lakers and Celtics still in the NBA?

They're both old and washed up teams, especially Kobe, Fisher, and the Celtics big 3. David Stern needs to send both these teams to a retirement home so they can rest peacefully, not play a rigorous sport like the NBA that will break their bones.
