How would I write a short story in which this was explicated?

Good start my lady. Not bad at all. It need something though. A little action. Make the poor folk steal the rich folk's walking sticks and have em beat em with them and steal their coats and shoes. Then when they're practically naked, have one of the rich folk look down and say "now" or something and all the demons from hades should sprout forth, chasing the poor and killing some before the archangels come down from the heavens to stop them, cause low and behold one of the poor folk is a prophet. Hows that for starters? No? Too much? Ohhh kayyy. Can i still have points for trying?
